49th National Day Flag Raising Ceremony
The 49th National Day Flag Raising Ceremony will be held on Thursday, 31st August 2006, at 0800 hrs in front of the Multi Purpose Hall of the Embassy of Malaysia.
Programme
8:00 – Arrival of Malaysian at the Main Foyer of the Multipurpose Hall, Embassy of Malaysia
8:20 – Assemble in front of the Flag Pole
8:25 – Arrival of His Excellency Ambassador Dato’s Shaarini Ibrahim and YBhg Datin Fuziah Abd Aziz
8:30 – Flag Raising followed by Negara Ku and Jalur Gemilang
– Recitation of Ikrar Rukun Negara
– Adjourn to Multipurpose Hall
9:00 – Welcoming Remarks by His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Shaarani Ibrahim
– Prize giving ceremony for Merdeka Games Tournament
– Presentation of Cheque as contribution of the Government of Malaysia to Kalab Malaysia, Bangkok
– Refreshment
– End of Ceremony
