In conjunction with the 62st Malaysia National Day or Hari Kemerdekaan, the Malaysian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (MTCC) organised our annual Merdeka Golf Tournament 2019 at the Royal Gems Golf and Sports Club, Thailand on 1 September 2019. This event was well supported by the Embassy of Malaysia in Thailand and Kelab Malaysia of Thailand (KMT).
More than 150 participants from Thailand, Malaysia and neighboring ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Brunei and Indonesia well attended the event. Also, there were also golfers from as far as Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, America and Denmark. It was MTCC’s vision to bring together the business leaders from Thailand, Malaysia and the region to network and come together in joyous celebration of the 62st Malaysia National Day.
This year’s event was made all the more prestigious with the participation of our guest-of-honor, H.E. Dato’ Jojie Samuel, The Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Thailand, the participations of The Ambassadors and Embassy staff from Brunei, Laos and Indonesia; as well as some senior government officials from the Kingdom of Thailand.
The Merdeka Golf Tournament 2019 was indeed a successful event, reaffirmed by the positive feedback received; and your generous support has undoubtedly contributed to its success.
