THE MALAYSIAN-THAI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DONATED TO FLOOD VICTIMS IN NAVANAKORN INDUSTRIAL ESTATE AND IN NONTHABURI PROVINCE

The Malaysian-Thai Chamber of Commerce donated 255 cartons of biscuits with a value of 135,000 baht and 1,200 packs of drinking water valued at 80,000 baht to flood victims living in the vicinity of the badly affected Navanakorn Industrial Estate as well as to the equally affected residents in the Nonthaburi area. 

The food aid was delivered on 5^th November to the Aapico Relief Fund located at the 2^nd Floor of the Mitsubishi Showroom near the industrial estate. Aapico Relief Fund has been distributing dried food to the affected residents since 20^thOctober. Another lot was delivered to the Flood Evacuation Center at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi,  Nonthaburi Campus where over 1,300 flood victims are taking shelter.

More than 14,000 factories employing over 600,000 workers are badly affected by the flood.  About ten Malaysian plants involved in the manufacture of automobile components and electrical and electronic products are also severely affected.  MTCC recognizes the need is immense and endeavours to contribute in whatever measure it can to alleviate the immediate suffering of the people.
